Who we are
EXTATIC Records is run by Extatic Records B.V., Mozartlaan 25F, 1217 CM Hilversum, The Netherlands. That company is the controller for anything described here, and that address is where questions, requests and complaints go.
What this site collects
Server logs. The site is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc. When you open a page your browser sends your IP address, browser type and the page requested, and Cloudflare keeps that for a short time to deliver the site and keep it secure. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a website that works. We don't use these logs for anything else.
Cookies and similar things. Nothing that tracks you loads until you say yes in the cookie bar. The bar itself remembers your choice for twelve months in your browser's local storage (key xttc_consent) — that's the only thing we store without asking, because it is what stops us asking again. Change your mind any time via at the bottom of every page. Saying no does not limit the site in any way.
Analytics — off until you allow it
Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd.) tells us which pages and releases get attention. We use it with IP anonymisation and without Google's advertising features. Cookies: _ga and _ga_*, up to two years. Google may transfer this data to the United States under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. Google's own policy: policies.google.com/privacy.
Advertising — off until you allow it
The Meta pixel (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.) lets us measure our Instagram and Facebook ads and show them to people who visited this site. Cookies: _fbp and _fbc, up to three months. Meta processes this data under its own terms, including transfers to the United States under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. You can also control ads on Meta's side: facebook.com/privacy/policy.
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal we treat it as a no and don't ask.
Demos
When demo submissions are open, what you send us — the track, your name and email — is used only to listen and get back to you. We keep it for a year at most and don't pass it on.
Other people's sites
Release links go to our smart-link pages (Linkfire, xttc.lnk.to), and from there to Spotify, Apple Music, Beatport and friends. Radio episodes play on YouTube and SoundCloud; the thumbnails on our radio page are served from our own site, so YouTube isn't contacted until you press play. Tickets are sold by the venues and by TicketSwap; merch by xttc.shop. Each of those has its own privacy policy, and it applies the moment you leave this site.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask what we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, object to how we use it, or ask for a copy. Write to the address above and we'll answer within a month. If you think we're getting it wrong you can complain to the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, at autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.
Changes
If we add a tracker or change what we do with your data we'll update this page and the cookie bar will ask again.
